Donna is a savvy, IABC-accredited business communicator with proven executive management skills, big-picture thinking, and the acumen to work with executive leaders in charting the direction of innovative communication programs. Known for her strategic insights in green/sustainability communications, she is a rainmaker who can commandeer start-up operations, deliver robust and scalable systems, and build best-in-class, global communication portfolios.

In addition to serving as Communication Director for several international public health projects and working as a social scientist for USIA, Donna was a Sr. Communication Officer at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa working with an Undersecretary General. Most recently, she was Public Affairs Director and Director of Science Communication at the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Research and Development where she wrote the EPA (ORD) award-winning, Visual Identity Guidelines.

She is equally comfortable in the halls of United Nations, lunching with a country’s president or a climate change scientist, or meeting with business executives who want to transform their company's communication portfolio.

A consummate professional in brand communication and winner of numerous regional and national awards, was the keynote speaker at the first graduating class of social marketers in Peru, has presented on public health communication issues at the British Medical Association, and was a US Treasury Department-designated researchers who conducted research in Almaty, Kazakstan for the first redesign of the $100 bill.

Donna is past president of the largest US IABC chapter and has a Ph.D. in Communication. She is a City of Rockville Environment Commission volunteer and has served as an IABC Gold Quill and PRWeek Awards Judge.
